Our Story
Set outside the charming village of Darvel, Laigh Hapton Farm Holidays boast two lovely properties, the Chaff House and the Hayloft. The location is an ideal getaway for friends and family who want to explore the rugged Ayrshire countryside and all it has to offer. Or indeed those who just want to kick back and relax in the tranquil surroundings, enjoying the hot tub, the peace and quiet and the stunning countryside views.

The Roost Retreat is a comfortable, quiet and rustic holiday home located in Leeming Bar, on the Gateway to the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. Our characteristic little holiday hideaway is an eco-conversion of a former Orangery and has been beautifully restored, retaining the original beams into cosy and unique self-catering accommodation. The Roost Retreat also benefits from its own separate kitchenette and a private outside patio area with a barbeque and fire pit. There is ample off-road private, level and secure parking, right outside the accommodation, a large enclosed front garden and complimentary Wi-Fi.

Keld Head Farm Cottages were created in 1989 from a group of traditional stone built stables and barns arranged around a courtyard, tastefully and expertly restored by local craftsmen. Two new cottages, Pasture View and The Smithy were completed in 2003.

This beautiful shepherd's hut is set in a tranquil and idyllic riverside field on the edge of the Lake District National Park. Called 'The Sheep Wash', the field is where sheep were gathered and washed in the river in times gone by. Boarded by woods and farmland this is the perfect location for a romantic break or get away from the hectic pace of modern life. No Wi Fi or TV – just the wildlife to watch and the sound of the river to listen to.

Yellowtop Country Park is home to 20 luxury self catering lodges, each with their own private hot tub, located amongst the tranquil and breathtaking scenery of the Yorkshire countryside, perfect for a York hot tub break.

Run by Gemma and Andy, Lower Trengale Farm is all about creating an inviting and relaxing space for you, our guest. The perfect place for you to unwind and switch off.
